What NJ A And P Stores Will Close Immediately?

Stop & Shop has agreed to purchase 25 A&P stores, including three in New Jersey, for $146 million, a published report states.

The New Jersey stores are the Pathmark locations in Butler and South Orange and the A&P in Closter, NJ.com reports. The closings and buyouts are the result of the company filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Sunday. It is the second time the Montvale-based company has filed for bankruptcy protection.

• Linden Pathmark, 651 North Stiles St.
• Edison Pathmark, 561 Route 1
• East Brunswick Pathmark, 50 Race Track Rd.
• Old Bridge Pathmark, 1043 U.S. Route 9
• Toms River Pathmark, 1256 Indian Head Rd.
• Holmdel A&P, 2101 Route 35
• Belleveille Pathmark, 115 Belmont Ave.
• Clifton Pathmark, Botany Plaza
• Clifton Pathmark, 895 Paulison Ave.
