Who Is Running For The Wyckoff And Franklin Lakes School Boards?
Here's a look at who is running for seats on the Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, and Ramapo-Indian Hills School Boards for the 2018 election.
WYCKOFF, NJ — Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, and the Ramapo-Indian Hills Regional boards of education have contested races in the 2018 school board election. Monday was the deadline for candidates to file to run in November.
In Wyckoff, Georgina Nico, Frederic Farcy, and Renee Kaspar are vying for two, three-year terms. Kaspar is running under the slogan of Peak Student Performance.
In Franklin Lakes, six people are vying for three, three-year terms: Amanda Krakowiak, Victoria E. Holst, Jacqueline Veliky, Kristen Evangelista, John J. Butto, and Michael Petrino. Krakowiak, Holst, and Veliky are running on the Integrity, Experience, Dedication slate.

There is also one race for the Wyckoff seat on the Ramapo-Indian Hills Regional High School Board of Education. John A. Carolan and John Kinney are running for that seat. Thomas Rukaj and Filomena Laforgia are running unopposed for the Franklin Lakes and Oakland seats, respectively.
Elections will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
