Woman Charged With Shoplifting From Franklin Lakes Stop And Shop

Woman allegedly shoplifted $173 worth of merchandise, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – A woman was charged with shoplifting from Stop & Shop Monday afternoon, police said.

The store’s manager notified police at 12:45 p.m. that a woman was shoplifting from the store, Lt. John Bakelaar said.

Responding officers arrested Lily Soliman, 65, of Mahwah and charged her with shoplifting, the lieutenant said.

Soliman allegedly shoplifted $173 worth of merchandise, Bakelaar said. She was released on her own recognizance. Sgt. Robert Lyon and Officer Donald Wilson investigated the incident.
