Woman Hospitalized, Franklin Lakes Drinking Party Busted: Police

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — A woman was hospitalized after police responded to an underage drinking party late Sunday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report at 11:21 p.m. of an intoxicated woman who needed medical attention at a Scioto Drive home, said Franklin Lakes Police Capt. John Bakelaar.

Police found "a number of underage adults" had been consuming alcohol at the home, Bakelaar said.

The Franklin Lakes Ambulance Corps took the woman to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Matthew Lyons, 19, was arrested and charged with providing alcohol to persons underage, the captain said.
