Woman Stole Wyckoff Resident's Purse: Police
The thief took the purse and mailed it back to the victim, say for $45 in cash that was inside, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A woman was charged with theft after she stole a resident's purse from a local business, police said.
The resident reported Dec. 28 that her purse was stolen from a local business after she forgot it there, said Lt. Joseph Soto.
Police looked at video surveillance of the incident and saw someone leave the store with the purse, Soto said.

The purse was mailed to the woman in February, which had everything in it except for $45 in cash. Police posted photos of the thief on the department's Facebook page, Soto said.
Police identified the suspect and asked her to go to headquarters to speak with Detective Sgt. kevin Kasak.

Kasak spoke with Lisa M. Schaper, 52, of Dumont in person, and, as a result, charged her with theft, a disorderly persons offense.
