Write-In Campaign Begins For Wyckoff Township Committee Race
Bob Yudin, former Bergen County Republican Organization Committee chairman, has launched a write-in campaign to challenge Thomas Madigan.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Bob Yudin, the former chairman of the Bergen County Republican Organization Committee, does not have a high opinion of incumbent committee member Thomas Madigan. At least when it comes to politics.
Yudin said as much in an announcement on his Facebook page, where he officially marked the start of a write-in campaign in the upcoming elections.
"Tom Madigan does not deserve to hold elective office at any level and he should not be allowed to run unopposed," Yudin said.

He added that he is urging voters to elect current committee member Timothy Shanley, but also offering an alternative to Madigan.
At least part of the reason for this new initiative is the recent debate around Board of Education elections in the township.

In a surprise vote, the Township Committee — minus Shanley — voted to move elections to April. In a swift rebuttal, the Board of Education voted to overrule that decision, with elections staying put in November. Read more: Wyckoff BOE Votes To Move Elections Back To November
"The voters of Wyckoff must stand up to Madigan and his followers," said Yudin.
"Supporting and voting for me and defeating Tom Madigan is the first step."
