Former White House Flower Arranger Will Speak At Wyckoff And Oakland Garden Clubs

Cathy Miller, former flower arranger for the White House will speak at 20 Lawlor Road, Oakland, NJ on May 11, 7 pm.

The Wyckoff Area Garden Club and the Oakland Garden Club will hold a joint meeting at the Oakland Senior Center, 20 Lawlor Drive, Oakland, NJ on Wednesday, May 11 at 7 pm.

The program, Let’s Welcome Spring!” features Cathy Miller, an avid gardener, flower arranger, lecturer, musician, and author.

Cathy has designed over 60 flower arrangements for the White House for four presidents and is the author of Harvesting, Preparing, and Arranging Dried Flowers. Her magnificent arrangements of dried flowers look freshly cut, thanks to her collecting and preparation techniques. Cathy has also appeared in numerous magazines and publications, sharing her joy of arranging flowers.

While she regales the audience with stories of her days at the White House and other venues, Cathy will assemble two arrangements.

This lively program is FREE and open to the public. Light refreshments.
