Wyckoff Businesses May Display Merchandise Outdoors Now
Township Committee approves new rules for businesses who want to put merchandise outside for people to see.

WYCKOFF, NJ - Retail stores may now display merchandise, plants, and decorations outside thanks to an ordinance the Township Committee approved recently.
The following regulations were approved last month:
- Live plants may be displayed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Seasonal decorations, not including products or merchandise, may not be displayed for more than 30 consecutive days.
- Items associated with a special sale may be displayed up to six consecutive days for no more than five times a year between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Business owners will have to keep at least six feet of the sidewalk clear to allow people to safely pass the merchandise.
