Wyckoff Cops Pull Drowning 93-Year-Old From Pool
BREAKING: Officers used CPR on the unresponsive man, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Police pulled a drowning 93-year-old man from a Carriage Lane swimming pool Thursday afternoon, authorities announced.
Police responded to the house just before 4 p.m. on a report that a man in a swimming pool was unresponsive and not breathing, said Chief David Murphy.
Murphy and Officer William Christopher arrived on scene and found a neighbor holding the man near the edge of the pool, the chief said. The officers pulled the elderly man from the pool and Sergeant Michael DeMaio and Officer Ryan Noon administered CPR and used a defibrillator on him, he said.

The Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps and paramedics from Valley Hospital arrived on scene and helped care for the man before he was taken to a hospital, Murphy said.
Detective Sgts. Joseph Soto and Michael Ragucci and the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department also assisted offices at the scene.
