Bergen County Couple With 'Remarkable Love Story' Dies 7 Days Apart

WYCKOFF, NJ — A couple who met in grammar school and lived in Wyckoff died within a week of each other this month, their obituary says.

Rick Fuhrman died on Sept. 6, and his wife Loretta died on Sept. 13 of "a broken heart," their obit says.

The pair dated throughout high school and married shortly after. They never had children, but had a dog, Teddy, and gave to many charitable causes. They were both 79.
