Wyckoff First Responders Partner For Toys For Tots Drive

The township has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. A collection is scheduled for Dec. 11.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Township first responders including the fire and police departments will team up with the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation for the 13th consecutive year, officials announced.

The Toys for Tots train has a scheduled stop in Wyckoff on Dec. 11 from 11:05 a.m. until 11:40 a.m., in which members of the Marines and Santa Claus will stop at the Main Street train station — now known as the Economy Shop — to collect gifts for the foundation.

New, unwrapped toys will be collected during the first two weeks of December both locally and across the country for distribution to children in need, according to a news release.

Wyckoff has set up a few collection points for gifts donated by people in the township, and surrounding communities.

  • Community Engine Company #2, 180 Wyckoff Ave.
  • Sicomac Engine Company #3, 428 Sicomac Ave.

Gifts can be donated to these locations before Dec. 1, but can also be dropped off at any fire houses on Monday evenings between 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., officials said.

The toy collection on Main Street is Dec. 11.
