Wyckoff Healthcare Aide Charges $1,200 On Client's Credit Card: Police

Yrana DeStave reportedly paid for her nurse's license with the card, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ – A home health care aide allegedly used a client’s credit card to pay for her nurse’s license, police said.

The friend of a Wyckoff man who has a home healthcare aide reported that the man had unusual charges on his credit card bill, said Chief Benjamin C. Fox.

Detectives Ryan Noon investigated the matter. He determined that Yrana DeStave, 35, of Spring Valley, N.Y., allegedly racked up $1,200 in charges on the account, including her nurse’s license, food, and bills, Fox said.

DeStave was charged with using a stolen credit card, theft a credit card, and uttering fraudulent information.
