Wyckoff Hiring For Municipal Jobs: What To Know
In addition to fall leaf collectors, the township is also looking for a field inspector and a secretary in the tax assessor's office.
WYCKOFF, NJ — Leaves will begin falling soon, and Wyckoff is preparing for town-wide cleaning efforts.
Seasonal leaf collection workers will be hired by the township soon, but there are other, more permanent positions, available at Tonw Hall as well.

Fall Leaf Collection Workers
The seasonal position begins Oct. 18 and runs through Dec. 31. Hours for the position are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and pay is $15 per hour. A valid New Jersey driver's license is required.

Applications for the position are available in the administrator's office at Town Hall, 340 Franklin Ave., Room 106.
Secretary
The role would be in the tax assessor's office, and is full time with a schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A salaried role, the position pays $35,000 per year with benefits.
Here's what the township is looking for:
"The Township of Wyckoff is seeking a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task; accurately enter deed changes and updating property record cards in computer, and other similar critical tasks. Willingness to learn municipal assessment practice. Must be telephone proficient and customer friendly. Possess organizational and follow-through skills, high level of proficiency with Word and Excel."
Field Inspector
The township is looking for a part-time field inspector, which could mean up to 25 hours per week. Pay varies on experience and qualifications between $12 to $22 per week.
Here's the job description:
"The Township of Wyckoff is seeking a motivated self-starter to perform tasks relative to accurate inspection, observation and measuring of structures for the purpose of assessment, including kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, etc. Regular office duties include filing and answering calls. Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Background check required. Valid Driver's License, as well as registered and insured personal vehicle required. Mileage reimbursement provided. Part-Time, up to 25 hours per week."
