Wyckoff Home Burglarized, Property Damaged: Police Blotter

A Clinton Avenue home and a vehicle on William Way were broken into recently, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Here is a summary of information from the Wyckoff Police Department regarding recent police activity in town.

Officer Terrence Murphy was dispatched to take a report from a William Way resident whose unlocked vehicle was entered, police said. Personal documents were removed from the vehicle sometime overnight from May 12 to 13, police said. The incident was referred to the Detective Bureau.

Someone entered a Clinton Avenue home. Police were advised of the entry Thursday shortly after 11 a.m., police said. Someone entered the home through a back door and "removed items" from the home, police said. The Bergen County Sheriff's Department BCI Division processed the scene; the matter has been referred to the Detective Bureau, police said.

Officer Ryan Noon was dispatched to a Steinhauser Lane home Monday at 11:18 a.m. on a stolen property report, police said. Sometime during the previous weekend, police said, a pressure washer was taken from the property.

Officer Michael Teegan was dispatched to Coolidge School Wednesday morning on a report that two outdoor glass basketball backboards were damaged in the past few days, police said.
