Wyckoff Man Assaults Police While Arguing with Mother

The man allegedly pushed and tried to kick officers while they responded to a report of an argument between him and his mother.

A Wyckoff man was arrested earlier this month for allegedly assaulting a Wyckoff police officer.

Police arrived to a Wyckoff apartment Nov. 3 on a report of an argument between a mother and her son over the use of the mother’s car.

Noah J. Stevenson, 18, of Wyckoff allegedly assaulted a police officer by pushing him and had to be forcibly restrained as he attempted to kick the officers, Wyckoff police said.

Stevenson was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Bail was set at $25,000 and Stevenson was committed to the Bergen County Jail in default of bail.
