Wyckoff Man Charged With DUI Following Downtown Crash: Police

Kenneth J. Andrito, 57, was charged after the crash at Wyckoff and Cedar Hill avenues Thursday.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A resident was charged with driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash Thursday night, police said.

Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Wyckoff and Cedar Hill avenues at about 7:30 p.m., said Lt. Joseph Soto. While investigating, officers administered field sobriety tests to Kenneth J. Andrito, 57, he said.

Andrito was arrested and taken to police headquarters, Soto said. He was charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving, failure to exhibit registration and failure to exhibit insurance.

Andrito's vehicle was impounded and he was released to a family member, Soto said. He is scheduled to appear in Wyckoff Municipal Court.
