Wyckoff, Shanley says, is in a good place when it comes to the coronavirus.
"The reports today show we are on a good track but need some improvement in reducing the hospitalizations. The virus transmission has been reduced in Wyckoff and we are in good shape as a result of wearing masks, avoiding large gatherings, socially distancing and watching out for our neighbors," he wrote.

Shanley also shared that on a phone call with aids of Gov. Phil Murphy, he was told to expect a state mandate on mask wearing, which came to fruition on Wednesday.
As New Jersey deals with the rise of coronavirus cases nationally, three states have been added to the growing list of those on a travel advisory, and Gov. Murphy has delayed future reopenings.
