The parks opening are:

  • Russell Farms Community Park

According to the executive order, those who decide to utilize the parks must still follow social distancing practices. Not doing so may lead to the closure of the parks, according to the Wyckoff post.

Parking at these parks will be limited to 50 percent of the maximum capacity, and activities that require "close contact" or organized group activities are not permitted. Picnics will also not be permitted.

Some recreation areas remain closed in Wyckoff, including Memorial Field Recreation Campus. This is due to on-going field construction, according to the post.

In an April 30 news release, Wyckoff Mayor Timothy Shanley noted that the county will not be re-opening the Environmental Center in Wyckoff at this time.

"We were not given a reason by the county for their decision to not open the Environmental Center. We have no control over its opening or closing," said Shanley in the release.
