WYCKOFF, NJ — Police broke up two parties recently where alcohol was served to minors, charged three juveniles and an 18-year-old as a result.

Officer John Rafferty went to a township home Sept. 29 at 9:40 p.m. on a report of a loud party, Lt. Joseph Soto said in a press release. Several juveniles were in the garage and went into the house after seeing Rafferty come up the driveway, he said.

About 50 kids were there and alcohol was being consumed by people too young to drink it, Soto said. Three juveniles were charged with delinquency complaints for making property available for the underage consumption of alcoholic beverages, the lieutenant said.
