Suspended Wyckoff Principal To Resign, Will Receive Paid Leave
The suspension of Eisenhower Middle School Principal Christopher Iasiello will officially come to an end. Here's how it'll happen.
WYCKOFF, NJ — The Board of Education has agreed to terms with suspended Principal Christopher Iasiello in a deal that will result in the latter's resignation, but will also earn him a paid leave of absence for the period from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
This agreement was first published on the agenda for the board's Monday meeting, and later discussed and agreed to at that meeting. In the agenda, Iasiello is referred to as "Staff Member #5075".
After the end of the term, Iasiello's resignation will become effective, the resolution reads.

However, his return was short-lived, as he resigned effective June 30.
"We appreciate Mr. Giordano's service to the district. He is shifting careers and going to work for an educational technology company which is something he has long been passionate about. We wish him the best in his new endeavor," said Superintendent Kerry Postma, at the time.

Meanwhile, Iasiello filed a petition of appeal in April hoping to end his suspension, while in the process revealing more about the circumstances that surrounded it. Read more: Suspended Wyckoff Middle School Principal Seeks Reinstatement
