Wyckoff Resident Names RealSource Realtor of the Year
Dorothea Bello has been recognized for her efforts at work and in her community.

Dorothea Bello, of Wyckoff, has been named Realtor of the Year for the RealSource Association of Realtors for 2014.
Each year RealSource awards a member this distinguished award based on their exceptional commitment to the Realtor profession, contributions to their local community and exemplary local and widespread humanitarian efforts.
Bello, who works with RE/MAX Home Towne Realty, is a dedicated Realtor both on and off the job. Throughout her tenure as a real estate professional, she has been an active member of the association by assuming roles on the board of directors and executive committee. By serving as the association’s president in 2014, she secured her influence as an integral part of the association’s progress and development. She has also dedicated countless hours to volunteer on several RealSource committees for the past decade and has consistently earned sales awards.

“We are always excited to honor members of our association for their hard work and dedication to the profession,” said RealSource CEO Elsie Abramo. “Dorothea has been so supportive of our association through the years and we are proud to recognize her as a stand-out member — both for her professionalism as a Realtor and association member, but also her thoughtful dedication to the community.”
In her local community, Bello is just as revered. Each month she cooks meals for Eva’s Village, a local organization that helps care for the hungry and homeless. Through this service, her work with multiple parent-teacher organizations, her charitable efforts with Rebuilding Together and her leadership through organizing women’s events, she has gained the respect of her fellow members of the community.
