Wyckoff Town Hall Opens Late Amid Icy Conditions
Town Hall and other government buildings opened late as multiple communities in Bergen County report iffy roadway conditions.
WYCKOFF, NJ — Town Hall opened at 10 a.m. today, a delayed start for township employees amid icy conditions on roadways. The recreation building also opened late.
On Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory statewide as freezing rain fell on slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges.
"Temperatures are warming across the area. There may still be lingering ice patches overuntreated surfaces," the weather service said. "Travel with caution the rest of the morning."

Speed limits on the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway have been reduced to 45 mph due to slippery conditions as crews salt the roads, according to 511nj.org.
Local police departments have already noted dangerous conditions on the road, with multiple accidents reported in Teaneck.
