Wyckoff VP Of Demolition Co. Admits Taking $340K In Bribes
Frank Aiello, 53, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
WYCKOFF, NJ — A township man admitted accepting more than $340,000 from the CEO and president of a scrap metal company to steer business to them, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
Frank Aiello, 53, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud before U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton in Newark federal court Friday.
Aiello was a senior vice president of a demolition and remediation services company. Cinelli Iron & Metal Co. Inc. of Secaucus purchased scrap metal for resale and ran three scrap metal recycling facilities in New Jersey, Carpenito said.

Two people, the Cinelli's co-owner and the co-owner and president, conspired with Aiello so he could use his position to solicit and accept gifts, payments, and other things of value from the co-conspirators in exchange for "actions favorable to their business," Carpenito said.
Cinelli faces a maximum 20-year federal prison sentence and a $250,00 fine, or twice the gross gain or loss from the offense.
