Wyckoff's Katrina Bowden Signs on to American Pie Sequel

So what's a local girl to do as a follow-up after she's named the sexiest woman alive? Signing on for a role in a multi-million dollar franchise isn't a bad encore.

Wyckoff's Katrina Bowden of "30 Rock" fame has signed on to the "American Pie" sequel "American Reunion" currently filming in Georgia according to a report in Variety.com. Bowden's role is described as playing the girlfriend of Chris Klein's character Oz.

According to Variety, the American Pie franchise has grossed $700 million worldwide.

It's been a good 2011 for the 22-year-old Bowden. In April the actress was named in an online poll by Esquire Magazine, following in the footsteps of previous winners Minka Kelly, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron.

Bowden has played Tina Fey's personal assistant Cerie on "30 Rock" since the pilot episode.
