Wyckoff's Kyle Tafuri Champions Sustainability Efforts At Bergen Hospital

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Kyle Tafuri is one of 30 people in the country honored for his work to further sustainability efforts in corporate America.

Tafuri, a Wyckoff resident, was named one of GreenBiz's list of 30 Under 30 emerging young leaders in business sustainability recently. He is the senior sustainability advisor at the Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center at Hackensack University Medical Center.

“Considering the company I’m in on the GreenBiz 30 Under 30 list, it’s humbling and inspiring to see the change that’s occurring,” said Tafuri. “It’s exciting to see how our work is influencing positive environmental change and it’s rewarding to be engaged in work that is so meaningful.”

HackensackUMC and The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health work to identify, control, and prevent the public's exposure to environmental toxins that threaten the health and well-being of the local community, especially children.
