• Centennial Sweeps Alamogordo in District Soccer Openers (town.news) — Alamogordo High School's boys and girls soccer teams both dropped their district openers to Centennial, with the Tigers losing 5–0 and the Lady Tigers 8–0. The boys now head to Organ Mountain on Thursday, while the Lady Tigers return home that same day, giving local fans a quick chance to support a rebound effort.
• Cheapest gas stations in New Mexico (gpkmedia.com) — Several Alamogordo gas stations, including Maverik, Murphy Express, Valero, and Speedway, are among the cheapest fuel options currently listed in New Mexico, with regular prices around $4.01 to $4.03 per gallon. If you're watching your budget, these local stations on US‑54, US‑70, and White Sands Boulevard may offer some of the best deals nearby.
