ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- Two police officers were wounded in a shooting Monday, police said.

Police were called for a possible active shooter around 2:50 p.m. Monday, police tweeted.

"If you live in the area of Larchmont and Montgomery NE please stay inside your homes for safety. Drivers please avoid the area," police said.

Two officers were wounded. One was treated for injuries and was expected to survive. The second officer was ok, police said.
