Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:

  1. KRQE Cares hosted its 50th shoe distribution event on Friday. The event was at Susie Rayos Marmon Elementary School where more than 500 students received goodie bags. A voucher for a free pair of shoes, socks, and dental supplies were included in the bags. (KRQE News 13)
  2. ABQ BioPark has launched its newest program - ABQ BioPark Family Night. The first event in the series will focus on animal enrichment on Mar. 12 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event will promote mental and physical stimulation for the zoo's animals while offering fun projects for attendees. (KRQE News 13)
  3. Salt Yard East will be hosting a pop-up fundraiser from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will feature over 35 different vendors, live music, and concessions with proceeds benefiting Albuquerque's nonprofit For Goodness Cakes.
