Albuquerque Reminds Residents: Trash, Recycling, And Large Items Will Not Be Collected On Christmas Day

The City’s Solid Waste Management Department will not collect trash, recycling, or large items on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
• Wednesday customers will be serviced on Thursday, December 26 • Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, December 27

• Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday, December 28 All three convenience centers, Montessa Park, Don Reservoir and Eagle Rock will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019 and will reopen in full operation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019. The Cerro Colorado Landfill will also be closed on Christmas Day and will reopen from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 26.

• Don Reservoir Convenience Center, 114th St. and Central SW
• Montessa Park Convenience Center, 3512 Los Picaros Rd. SW
• Cerro Colorado Landfill, 18000 Cerro Colorado SW
The main administrative office at 4600 Edith NE will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 and will reopen Thursday, December 26, 2019.
