Here are the top 3 stories today in Albuquerque:
- Leaders in the city of Albuquerque plan to hold a meeting involving the surrounding community to receive input on the burial site for students from the Albuquerque Indian School. The city hopes to find a solution to respectfully make it a sacred area of the park. The city is working with Pueblos, tribes, and community stakeholders to come to a uniform decision. (KRQE News 13)
- On Wednesday, most buildings in Bernalillo County closed following what officials believe to be a ransomware attack. As of yesterday, Bernalillo County spokesman Tom Thorpe reported that he had not received any demands associated with the possible attack. (KOB)
- Urban Hotdog Company, an Albuquerque-based restaurant, will be featured on the Cooking Channel, the Food Network, and the Travel Channel. The episode is set to air on Jan. 26. (KOAT New Mexico)
