Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:
- The Beyond Van Gogh experience has been extended through May 30. Participants have the opportunity to enjoy over 3oo masterpieces painted by Vincent Van Gogh. The experience has been delighting Albuquerque since it opened on Mar. 2. The immersive exhibit was created at Montreal's Normal Studio. (Albuquerque Journal)
- The 35th Annual Run for the Zoo event is back after being held virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic. The popular event is hosted by the New Mexico BioPark Society. Registration is currently open and free Park & Ride services will be offered to participants. (KRQE News 13)
- The University of New Mexico is offering free melanoma screenings starting next month. The screenings will be offered throughout the state, including the rural areas. The screenings are necessary since New Mexico experiences roughly 290 sunny days each year which raises the opportunity for skin cancer. (KOB)
