Unity Spiritual Center and the Albuquerque Mennonite Church, Unity of Santa Fe, Community of Love in Taos, Iranian Veterans for Peace, New Mexico Interfaith Dialog, and other organizations are hosting or promoting A Peace Concert across the nation.
Admission is a suggested minimum donation of $12.00. Kids under twelve free. No one is turned away. All proceeds go to Minab Peace. The concert is Tuesday October 2 at 6:30pm. The doors open at 6:00 pm.
This concert is to raise funds for the Minab Peace Memorial. The Peace Memorial is a project to raise awareness of the innocent lives lost when the Minab Elementary school in Iran was targeted at the beginning of the Iran war. 168 children were killed in the attack. The concert will feature "A Lullaby to Wake People Up", an original work by Sufi poet and teacher Brother Moji Agha and presented live in person by The Irthlingz band.
There are also concerts in Santa Fe and Taos and other cities around the nation!
