- The City of Albuquerque opened the Mesa Verde Community Center as a temporary warming shelter as winter weather moved through the area earlier this week. When open, the center provides hot soup and snacks to guests and is staffed by volunteers and city staff. City officials will continue to evaluate the weather this week to determine whether additional warming center hours will be offered. (KOAT New Mexico)
- Police have arrested a Belen man in connection to the break-in at an Albuquerque cookie shop on Monday morning. Joshua Sena, who allegedly broke the building's windows and then hid in a bathroom until police arrived, is charged with breaking and entering for the incident that occurred at an Insomnia Cookies location in the southeastern part of the city. (KRQE News 13)
- A real estate developer based out of Texas is planning to develop a 218-unit multifamily residential project in Albuquerque. The project is expected to begin construction in March 2023 and be completed by August 2024. (The Business Journals)
