Here are the top three stories today in Albuquerque:

  1. The National Weather Service has issued a dust advisory for Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. The city will reportedly experience low visibility of fewer than two miles due to the dust. Travelers are being asked to be cautious during this period, especially while traveling along Interstate 40 and 25. (KOAT New Mexico)
  2. The Albuquerque Police Department is searching for two male suspects who reportedly robbed the AT&T store on Coors Blvd. The two suspects robbed the telecommunications store at gunpoint while taking several thousands of dollars. The suspects fled the store in a black sedan. Anyone with information related to the robbery is being directed to contact Crime Stoppers. (KRQE News 13)
  3. The City of Albuquerque has started the "Lets Plant Albuquerque" campaign. The city will be planting 100,000 trees throughout the next ten years to meet the campaign's goal. The new trees will increase the city's tree canopy which will reduce heat during the warm seasons. (KRQE News 13)
