Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:
- A fight on an Albuquerque bus ended in an attack with a sword on Tuesday. Police arrived at Edith and Montaño to find a victim bleeding from deep wounds. Brian Lee has been arrested after allegedly attacking people on the bus, ultimately striking the injured victim. Lee has been charged with aggravated battery and concealing identity. (KRQE News 13)
- There are a variety of holiday displays available for viewing in Albuquerque this year. The city also has plenty of seasonal celebrations, like Halloween in Winter and the New Mexico Bowl. Visit the link to view a list of local ways to tap into the spirit of the season. (Albuquerque Journal)
- A new ordinance in Bernalillo County will ban people from obstructing roads, sidewalks, medians, and crosswalks. The ordinance is being called the Pedestrian Safety Bill; however, it will also apply to sidewalks as well. The Board of Commissioners voted four to one in favor of the ordinance. Officials hope this move will help reduce pedestrian injuries. (KRQE News 13)
