- A new community center opens its doors on the southeast side of Albuquerque. The Singing Arrow Community Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside of the $5.6 million building on Tuesday. The center offers rooms for gaming, fitness, learning, crafts and meetings within the 15,000 square foot space. (KRQE News 13)
- Three Sisters Kitchen offers space and resources for those looking to start a food-related business. The nonprofit offers a Food Business Training Program that is centered around helping future entrepreneurs fine-tune their business model and viability plan. Graduates of the program can receive additional support through technical assistance, training and possible low-interest loans. (Albuquerque Business First)
- Residents in downtown Albuquerque want the city to address homelessness concerns. The president of the Silver Platinum Downtown Neighborhood Association points to biohazards littering the streets such as needles, urine, and home feces. A City Spokesperson says complaints can be issued by calling 311 and the city has a cleaning partner to handle most issues that arise. (KOB)
