- To provide support for families with young children, Catholic Health Initiatives St. Joseph's Children is offering free home visiting to provide support for first-time parents. CHI St. Joseph's supports families and children of all abilities as a self-funded program, due to an endowment, and doesn't have an income requirement. The organization offers services immediately after families register and if enrolled prenatally, specialized curriculums, information, and support are available. (KRQE News 13)
- On Monday, the City of Albuquerque announced free parking will be offered on Central Avenue and in Old Town during the holiday season. Every parking meter on Central is free for two hours and free parking will also be offered in the Old Town parking lots on Central between Romero Street NW and San Felipe Street NW. Free parking began on Nov. 26 and will continue every day through Jan. 2. (KOB)
