- Work on Interstate 40 between 98th and Coors begins today. The State Department of Transportation reports that the reconstruction work will cost $19.5 million and will be conducted by Mountain States Constructors. Authorities notify drivers that they should expect shoulder closures and temporary ramp closures along the area that is under construction. (Albuquerque Journal)
- Albuquerque's BioPark visitors will soon experience rides on a new electric tram. The new addition will be able to transport visitors between the zoo, aquarium, and botanic garden. The new tram is intended to replace the train that was removed two years ago and will likely cost $400,000. (KRQE News 13)
- A former APD academy commander filed a lawsuit against the City of Albuquerque over the loss of her job. Commander Angela Byrd was fired 2020 and it was allegedly related to her treats and retaliation against those who reported harassment in the Academy. The filed lawsuit alleges that Byrd was the victim of those same allegations from the City of Albuquerque. (KOB)
