🌱 Mass Vaccination Site At Expo NM + Liquor License Revoked

  1. A mass vaccination site is now open at the Expo NM's Dairy Barn Annex. The site, located at 300 San Pedro Dr. N.E., opened on Wednesday and will remain open until Dec. 20. The site is prepared to hand out 800-to-900 doses each day, including the first shot for kids ages 5-to-11 – a Pfizer vaccine – and booster shots for everyone who qualifies. (KOB)
  2. The Albuquerque Police Department are investigating the 108th homicide of the year in northeast Albuquerque. On Wednesday afternoon, police were called to an apartment complex on the 3400 block of Aztec Road near Carlisle Boulevard where they found a man dead from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Police did not release the name of the victim and are currently investigating the scene. (KOAT New Mexico)
  3. A NE Albuquerque bar had its liquor license revoked, and has closed, after being cited for serving alcohol to minors. New Mexico State Police's Special Investigation Unit conducted a Dec. 3 sting operation at La Cantina Loca, after receiving complaints about minors being allowed into the bar. The bar and the offending servers received administrative citations for liquor law violations and the bar's liquor license was revoked on Dec. 7. (KOB)
