  1. The Albuquerque Volunteer Advisory Board is currently accepting nominations for its seventh annual Mayor Day of Volunteer Recognition event. The ceremony will be held at the Albuquerque Museum on Jun. 23. Attendance at the actual event will be limited but the board will be live streaming the event to the public. Nominations will be accepted until May 13. (KRQE News 13)
  2. The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is searching for more volunteers to help with the increased spring animal populations.   3. Albuquerque Public Schools will be providing vaccinations for employees, students, and families at Berna Facio on Apr. 27. The vaccination clinic will be from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Louisiana Boulevard NE professional development complex. Appointments will not be necessary to receive a vaccine.
