Here are the top 3 stories in Albuquerque today:

  1. The University Libraries Center for Southwest Research and Special Collections (CSWR) at the University of New Mexico opened a virtual exhibit "Love in the Archives" just in time for Valentine's Day this week. Following the theme of "Love and Gratitude," the exhibit will celebrate essential workers that have helped communities throughout New Mexico's history. (UNM Newsroom)
  2. AMC 12 in Albuquerque is excited to announce that they will be expanding open captioning options in theaters. While going to the movies may be a favorite activity for many families, films can often be inaccessible for the deaf community. Increasing open captioning options is the first step toward closing this gap and making movies more inclusive. (KOB)
  3. A flight from North Carolina to Los Angeles was diverted unexpectedly to New Mexico and made an emergency landing. According to officials, a male passenger threatened a flight attendant. Albuquerque Police say that the case has been passed on to the FBI. (KRQE News 13)
