  1. The Albuquerque Police Department has identified a suspect and victim in a Saturday homicide. Police responded to the Wyoming and Paseo del Norte area following reports of shots being fired. Officers found Devlin Rubi dead inside a home on Krim Drive Northeast; officers identified and arrested David Padilla a few hours later. (KOB)
  2. An Albuquerque man was sentenced to 16 years in prison following the fatal shooting of Yolanda Chee, 45-years-old, in Jan. 2021. Nathaniel Natonabah, 35-years-old, pleaded guilty to a judge Friday on charges of second-degree murder, aggravated battery, and injuring Chee's son. Natonabah's defense attorney attempted to argue that the shooting was a heated reaction to being slapped in the face by Chee. (Albuquerque Journal)
  3. Cirque du Soleil's OVO performance returns to Albuquerque after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Performers come from fifteen different countries and dedicate a lot of time to making a fantastically colorful experience. The costumes used during the performance are hand-tailored and custom-fitted for each performer with almost 100 different clothing pieces used throughout the performance. (KOAT New Mexico)
