  1. April marks "One Albuquerque Cleanup Month," a time for neighborhoods to pitch in to clean up their communities. Each Saturday this month, neighborhood associations, volunteers, and the City of Albuquerque will come together to clean up trash and illegal dumping.   2. International organization In Defense of Animals has alleged the ABQ BioPark to be one of the worst zoos in the nation for elephants. Officials with BioPark on Tuesday stated the zoo has expanded its exhibit with enhanced enrichment over the years. Additionally, concerning the tragic death of two young elephants due to a herpes virus, ABQ reports the staff continues to learn about the herpes virus and how to protect elephants from it. (KOB)
  3. In partnership with Adelante DiverseIT, the Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs is hosting a tech fair for residents age 50 and older. The free event, open to the public, is designed to help older adults get comfortable with and stay up to date with current technology. The fair is scheduled for Friday, Apr. 1 at North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center. (KRQE News 13)
