- The Paleta Bar in Uptown donated a check on Tuesday that will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Holiday Wish Sibling Store. The downtown bar donated $5,000 to give children a chance to pick out a special toy this holiday season to gift to their siblings. (KRQE News 13)
- A suspect is in police custody after a SWAT standoff in NE Albuquerque early Tuesday morning. Officers were dispatched to 1913 Alvarado Dr. NE, where an alleged knifeman had barricaded themselves inside and refused to come out, prompting a SWAT team to come out. A person walked out of the apartment shortly after the team used two flashbangs and was taken into custody. (KOB)
- Albuquerque faces another warm Christmas this year. Temperatures this week should climb to the mid and upper-50s most days, about 10 degrees above normal. 63 degrees is the all-time record high for Christmas day — will 2021 break it? (KOB)

- Albuquerque Police Officers in the SE are putting together Christmas baskets for families in their area command. The local 4H club donated over 100 backpacks filled with goodies, toys, and toiletries, which will be included in the Christmas baskets (Facebook)
- Carlo Lucero, former Board Chair and long-time board member of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce passed away earlier this month. The Chamber described Lucero as "a true friend to all who knew him," and said he "made this world a better place." (Facebook)
