🌱 Plea Deal Could Set Murderer Free + Fatal Shooting

Here are the top stories in Albuquerque today:
- A man accused of the murder of his ex-girlfriend has agreed to a plea deal that could set him free. Arthur Lovato is charged in the 2019 killing of 49-year-old Rita Jaramillo even though her body was never found. Lovato pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter that carries a possible six-year sentence. However, in court as part of the deal, if he leads investigators to the body, his sentence will be suspended. It's not a deal the family is happy with. (KRQE News 13)
- Officers responded to a shooting that took place on Monday evening. Upon arrival, they found a man, identified as 20-year-old Elijah Vallejos, with a gunshot wound. The victim was brought to UNMH where he later died.
- Albuquerque police have released additional photos they say show the suspect vehicle involved in a deadly road rage shooting. (KRQE News 13)
- The River of Lights will be returning to the Albuquerque BioPark Botanic Garden from Nov. 27 to Dec. 30! (KOB)
- Another family on Albuquerque's West Side is warning others as the flasher (reported by KOB 4 last week) strikes again. (KOB)
