Here are the top stories in Albuquerque today:

  1. Police have made an arrest in a road rage incident where a mother driving her two-year-old daughter was shot at. The mother ended up driving to APD's nearby Foothills substation where surveillance video shows the suspect's white truck driving by. Video from the substation and nearby businesses helped make the arrest. (KRQE News 13)
  2. Prosecutors are trying to keep a man behind bars after he allegedly drove right at a New Mexico Children, Youth & Families Department worker. Deputies say earlier in October, the CYFD worker showed up at a South Valley apartment to check on Nicklas Trujeque's girlfriend's children. Police say he became upset, yelled at the worker, and at one point drove his car at her, nearly hitting her. (KRQE News 13)
  3. The city has begun the demolition of an abandoned Mesilla building but the lots will likely remain vacant until the liens are paid back and the owner decides to sell. (KOB)
  4. This year, S.A.F.E House, a local nonprofit, is looking to expand its operations as it honors 45 years of providing relief for domestic violence victims. (KOB)
  5. The Albuquerque Police Department was investigating a crash that killed one person Wednesday late afternoon. Police say the man's death is being investigated as a medical episode. (KOAT New Mexico)
