Here are the top stories in Albuquerque today:

  1. An accused serial burglar who's at the center of a high-profile battle between the district attorney and defense attorneys was back in court on Monday, Nov. 15. Police believe Jesse Mascareno-Haidle of Albuquerque is tied to as many as 80 home burglaries in the area. (KRQE News 13)
  2. Albuquerque police arrested eight suspected drunk drivers and arrested two people for felony narcotics and possession of weapons Saturday night. Since Friday, 24 people were booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center for driving while intoxicated. All of the arrests made this weekend come days before Mothers Against Drunk Driving celebrates its 35 years of the designated driver red ribbon campaign. (KOB)
  3. With many vacancies to fill, the City of Albuquerque's Department of Senior Affairs and Solid Waste Department have partnered with NM Workforce Connection to host a Veterans Job and Resource Fair. The event will feature over 25 businesses and organizations and will also include educational, housing, nutrition, and mental health wellness resources. (KRQE News 13)
