Here are the top stories in Albuquerque today:
- The University of New Mexico held its fifth-annual Stadium Stair Challenge on Saturday morning. The race started on the field and went through all 1,667 stairs in University Stadium. All of the money raised goes to the Agora Crisis Center, which provides free confidential help to anyone in need of emotional support. (KRQE News 13)
- West End Productions will open its version of 'Hay Fever' on Thursday, May 5, at the North Fourth Art Center. The performances will run through May 15. The company concentrates on plays by English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh playwrights. (Albuquerque Journal)
- May is turning into a busy month for the Nob Hill neighborhood with two new restaurants lined up to open next month. The first of the new slate of restaurants to open is Gather, a "cocktail-forward, small plate, and shareable items concept," according to the owner. The second restaurant, Social House 3128, will have a more entree-focused menu with "gastropub" inspired items and an extensive, but affordable wine menu. (Albuquerque Journal)

- The Albuquerque Police Department has arrested Raul Martinez, 24, for allegedly impersonating a police officer. Officers were first notified about Martinez in late March and were sent a link on social media regarding an incident where he was suspected of impersonating an officer. (Facebook)
- The U.S. Forest Service-Santa Fe National Forest has announced the closure of Highway 4 on Sunday afternoon. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and check social media for additional updates. (Facebook)
- Mother's Day is in one week. Celebrate Mom during a special day at a special place. Get tickets to Mother's Day at the Zoo on Sunday, May 8, and show mom how much she means. During your visit to ABQ BioPark, be sure to get her a bouquet from Jennifleurs flower truck. (Instagram)
