  1. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's operation that brought more state police to Albuquerque is coming to an end. It started on Aug. 17 with the goal of helping the Albuquerque Police Department tackle crime. New Mexico State Police Chief Tim Johnson reported the operation led to 160 arrests, including getting a suspected murderer off the streets. (KOAT New Mexico)
  2. Albuquerque police have charged 21-year-old Isaiah Luna with murder for shooting a panhandler. Officers responded to the fatal shooting at the intersection of 98th Street and Central Ave SW. While Luna told police he shot the man in self-defense after the man punched him in the face, detectives saw no evidence of this in surveillance footage. (KOB)
  3. A former animal behavioral specialist for the City of Albuquerque speaks out on deplorable conditions inside local animal shelters, which have led to an increase in aggression in its canine (KOB)
  4. An Albuquerque neighborhood is trying to track down who stole their Little Library. (KRQE News 13)
