- According to a release by the Albuquerque International Sunport, Frontier Airlines is planning to announce a new nonstop flight from Albuquerque to Las Vegas, Nevada. The flight is to begin on May 12. According to officials with the airport, a new nonstop flight like this is a sign of increased passenger demand. (Albuquerque Journal)
- Albuquerque's University of New Mexico has announced plans to lift its indoor mask mandates as early as late next week, according to a news release. The masks will be optional in non-healthcare or non-health sciences settings. Masks will still be required on public transportation. (Albuquerque Patch)
- Isaiah Martinez, 29, remains behind bars despite a judge's order for his release. Martinez allegedly stole about $56,000 worth of high-end sunglasses from the Colorado Mall. Reportedly, Martinez remains behind bars for violating terms of release in a separate case. (KRQE News 13)
